Texel Big Day, the start of the Dutch National Bird Week

The Texel Big Day will form the start of the 2018 Dutch National Bird Week of BirdLife Netherlands. Running the 24 hours of Saturday 12 May 2018, the Texel Big Day will see teams of 3-4 birdwatchers cycling their way around Texel trying to record as many species as possible and raising money in the process.
The Dutch National Bird Week is an annual event run by BirdLife Netherlands beginning on 12 May and lasting until 20 May 2018.
